It is undeniable that a mother’s love for her children is tantamount to something that cannot be measured. We often see viral stories of mothers showing how great their love is for theor children. But when a child shows the same for their moms, it is a totally different story.
Netizens are pouring love over to this kid who recently went viral for his undying love for his mom. John Mark Nasih who lives in Caloocan went viral when photos of him pushing his ailing mom surfaced.
It was reported that he would bring his mom, Alma to school everyday and leave her in the cafeteria while he goes to his classes.
Alma has symptoms similar to cerebral palsy. She wasn’t born that way, according to her she just woke up one day and she was not able to walk anymore.
“Nagising na po ako at hindi na po ako makalakad. Siyempre nakikisama na po ako sa mga kamag-anak ko, siyempre po wala na pong magaalaga sa akin.”
John Mark’s dad died of dengue in 2008. Since then, he was the one taking care of his mom. He takes care of his mom, bathes her, feeds her and gives her what she needs.
He knows that he needs to strive if he wants to give his mom a better life so he would wake up early, prepare his mom and him for school and then push her wheelchair to school for 30 minutes or so.
Thankfully, one netizen took notice of their situation and posted their photos on social media which then captured the attention of the program Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
Since then, blessing has been pouring for both the mother and son. In fact, Mark even received a scholarship and school supplies from Young Achiever’s School of Caloocan.
Now, Mark is closer to his dream of being a doctor, and this got his mom very proud.
“Ang gusto ko lang ay makapasok sa eskuwela ang anak ko at makatapos lang siya sa kolehiyo para hindi na siya mahihirapan paglaki niya. ‘Yun lang din po ang pangarap ko sa kanya. Hindi habambuhay na nandito ako.”
